Sony Pictures Releasing has debuted the new trailer for The Equalizer 2, a sequel to 2014's The Equalizer, based on the television series of the same name.
Denzel Washington returns to one of his signature roles in the first sequel of his career. Robert McCall serves an unflinching justice for the exploited and oppressed – but how far will he go when that is someone he loves? When he learns that one of his longtime friends has been murdered, McCall decides to return to his old ways and seek out and find and punish the perpetrators.
The Equalizer 2 reunites director Antoine Fuqua with Denzel Washington, along with returning stars Melissa Leo and Bill Pullman. Rounding up the cast are newcomers Ashton Sanders (Moonlight) and Pedro Pascal (Kingsman: The Golden Circle).
