Wow!A entertaining, fun to watch movie. forest survival knowledge will add to it. Director did a great job let us know every character personality in a fun way. Isabela Moner and Eugenio done a great job potray these character, can feel the passion in Moner and Eugenio potray the bad guy so well unlike some of the movie disgusting and lame bad guy.
Dora and the Lost City of Gold : 7/10 Dora and the Lost City of Gold adopts the popular kids tv show from nickelodeon, Dora the Explorer with a very modern twist. This movie is full of comedy gold and is very self aware. There were many ridiculous unrealistic moments and even a major throwback to the cartoon (You'll get it when you see it!) . Acting and score and all these filmography nonsense can be thrown out the window, but there was a serviceable "family focused" plot that most cartoons embrace. Come and watch this movie for a good time and nothing more. It is definitely a fan service to those who watch Dora when they were kids. Even classic characters like Boots and Swiper were used well in this movie. The movie made it perfectly clear that it is ridiculous to have these unorthodox characters in a live adaptation. I did not stay for the credits.
The story is very been there done that, there was nothing new or exciting about it. It definitely could have been developed more plot wise to make it more unique and less kiddy.
Stayed true to the source material and was creative enough to add on to it. You’ll probably enjoy it even if you weren’t a fan of Dora back in the day. 3.5/5
